100 Swiss players, 270 wooden blocks and 30 minutes. These are the ingredients at the basis of a special project curated by Christiane Nill (concept & art direction) and Lionel Henriod (photography) called Let’s Play.
Let’s Play is a faceted universe. It is, at the same time, a book, an exhibition, a journey to discover the Swiss creative landscape. But, above all, it is a game that involves 100 designers, architects and artists invited to create original constructions using wooden blocks, maybe the oldest known play tools ever. The project is divided into two main phases: the first is a portrait session in a photo studio. The second is about creating a construction. The photo of the construction together with the portraits create a diptych. All the 100 diptychs create a book that will be published tomorrow.
Tomorrow will be a big day for the Let’s Play project. Indeed, the related exhibition will open its doors to the visitors within the framework of the Images Vevey Festival. All the photos will be displayed at the Swiss Museum of Games from 10th September to 2nd October 2016. We invite you all to visit the official website of the Festival for further details.
