How often have you tried to find a refined piece of clothing, ready-to-wear and at the same time bright to look distinctive? If you love to take care of your look and if you have the need to differentiate from the increasingly globalized aspect of fashion, INDIGO is indeed what you need.

As the pictures of the Autumn-Winter 2016/17 collection in the “lookbook” above show, the INDIGO clothes express great attention to details, have very bright colours and interesting clean cuts. INDIGO was born in December 2014 with the aim to create clothing that entails the “Swiss Madeavant-garde and contemporary models in one unique brand (all clothes are entirely designed and produced in Ticino, Switzerland). The designers duo behind the brand, Oriana Todaro and Simona Costa, graduated from NABA (Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti) in Milan. They are both not only passionate about clothing but also about the entire world behind it. INDIGO, as stated by the two designers, is a “prét-à-portér women’s brand, which addresses modern and sophisticated women who appreciate good quality and details that make the difference.” Dresses, skirts, trousers, outerwear, etc. are made of natural fibres such as cotton and silk without, however, neglecting technical fabrics that recall the sportswear world.

Another reason why we decided to talk about INDIGO is its ability – despite being a young brand – to offer something fresh every season. Oriana and Simona are consistent in designing clothes that are characterized by clean lines and fullness of details. And all the clothes have a special finishing, the piping orange fluo, that is a trademark of their atelier. Curious about the brand and want to see more? Don’t miss the presentation of the new Spring/Summer 2017 collection, which is characterized by radiant colours and prints. The collection will be presented at MAR3, “moda, arte & savoir-faire” (fashion, arts & savoir-faire) an event dedicated to the promotion of various fashion designers. The event will take place at Asilo Ciani in Lugano on the 3rd of June 2016 starting from 18.30.
