Design and self-production are deeply connected lately. More and more creatives, especially the youngest ones, are changing their way to deal with the entire production chain.
They use to be in charge for the concept of a new object as well as for its production, promotion and distribution. Embracing this new trend, the Italian magazine The Friday Project launched a competition dedicated to designers, stylists, makers and artisans who produce all by themselves. You have time until 29 February 2016 to send to the organizers the filled participation form and three JPEG pictures (300 dpi resolution) of your works.
If you will be selected, you will be part of an exhibition held during the TFP Live! event in Milan (1-2 April 2016). We are talking about a very special event: is the one that officially introduces the magazine to the large public and will be enlived by workshops, round tables and exhibitions. Photography and art lovers will have the chance to visit the exhibition with photos by Laura Novara and paintings by Alice Cerigioni. Moreover, during that weekend the fifth issue of the magazine dedicated to the topic challenges (in Italian “sfide”) will be presented. The Design Pot will be media partner of the event, telling you what will be going on and sharing with you behind the scenes and previews news. Creativity is contagious… pass it on!
